- Very good value for money
- They work! Glad it comes with 4 because I always mess these things up. First try was slightly off but the second screen was spot on. I paired these with a silicone case after cracking & repairing the screen on my 1030 and have had no issues. The touch screen works like it did with nothing on it and the Garmin has had some bumps in the woods with no damage.UPDATE-18 months - My tempered glass screen just got it’s second crack today after 18 months of road, MTB and gravel riding average 2 hr/ day, including surviving jettisoning at 25mph from a broken computer bracket last month. Between the bumper, screen protector, and bouncing off in the dirt shoulder, the $600 computer survived with just a few extra scratches in the screen protector. The broken one came off with ease, as the adhesive layer keeps the glass together, but leaves no residue on the Garmin glass so it was a quick clean with the little cloths, and drop the new one on. I keep the extras in my Garmin box with the other odds & ends so I know where to find them. Well worth the $ and still fine screen response with 450 rides on the first protector before swapping.
- These do what they’re supposed to do and are easy to install. Once on, you don’t even see them. It’s like not having one.
- Just tore this off after using for several months. I grew so frustrated with how terribly this affected the touch performance. A soft touch or tap is completely unrecognized (any conditions). Requires a sharp or firm press. Combined with the general lag of this Edge device (compared to a good smartphone) it makes for a very frustrating experience. I\'ll take the risk of screen damage, thanks.
- Installed easy. Once you figure out the correct side down it just seemed to suck it self to the device with no bubbles. I haven\'t noticed any degradation of the touch screen and I have mine set to medium sensitivity. Works well.
- Doesn\'t seem to affect screen readability or touch screen sensitivity.
- I couldn’t get the screen protector to seal at one corner. Otherwise, it is very transparent with no bubbles and does not have any adverse effect with the touch screen.
