Garmin Universal Carrying Case
- This product is nice to have. I am using this product with the Montana 650T and it is a tight squeeze and the tab on the zipper has broken. I would purchase again unless I found a better product.
- My Garmin fits snugly in the case. The Velcro flap fits a wide belt and holds securely. I would recommend this item.
- Only fits some farming units
- I bought this for use with the Oregon. It fits, but there\'s a lot of extra space. About 1 inch at the top, 1/2 inch at the side, and maybe 1/4\" too thick. The Approach is the same size as an Oregon.Even with the extra space, the Oregon will not fit in it if the Garmin Swivel Belt Clip is attached. By the way, the belt clip is extremely useful - by clipping the GPS to your belt, you\'re not placing it down if you need your hands free, so won\'t forget to pick it up when you leave.The material is about average in construction, and with the relatively high price, I\'m only giving it an average review.
- This case is of fine quality,however the size is too big for my Etrex to be used efficiently in my backpack where space is important.
- I ordered a carrying case for a RV785 Garmin which is about 8 inches long and approximately 5 inches wide. The description in the write=up for the case was clear and was definitely for the larger Garmin. I received a carrying case for the Oregon series GPS which is about 1/3 the size of the RV785. Upon receival, I requested a return and a replacement. Amazon, to their credit promptly sent me a replacement immediately but when it was delivered, it was the same style case I returned. This time I requested to just return it and also a refund. It\'s apparent there is a stocking issue at the warehouse it was sent from twice. Either the person filling the order just read Garmin Carrying Case without looking at the particular part number or the item is in the wrong stocking position in the warehouse.
- Too small for a Drive 50
- Not a big fan of this - it was featured on the product page of the Montana 650t I just bought and it\'s a poor fit. I have jammed it in there to see if it will stretch out and be easier to use, but it\'s clearly too small and the wrong shape. I\'d suggest a more thoughtful list of products it fits and disassociate it with the 650t and others that it clearly doesn\'t fit.And while I\'m griping - it offers little in the way of protection - it\'s thin lightweight nylon. A plastic insert on one side to protect the screen from impacts would go a long way towards making me feel more confident that this is protecting against anything other than dust and scuffs.Pass on this one.
