- I ordered this for Garmin Instinct 2 Solar watch. IT works though due to the strap getting in the way I lie the charger flat on it\'s side. I think the trap can be looped around from the top and bottom but I haven\'t tried it.
- Overall this comes with a bit more versatility and options then a standard replacement cable.The garmin watch charging cable works perfectly with my garmin instinct solar (tactical). It is everything I expected as the port fits connects snugly to the watch charging the watch quickly and efficiently. It is a great replacement or backup cable.The caps are a cool idea, and I do use them sometimes and tactilely they are amazing soft silicone. Even while using the watch I don’t notice its there. Maybe its because I have the instinct and charge about once a month I am more worried about moisture getting trapped in then keeping dust out.The mini dock is also a cool idea and works if you leave your watch on a watch stand when not in use. My main use has been when I charge it upside down while away for the weekend so I can travel with just a USB-C for the weekend.
- I love the portable charger & kajillion (ten) port covers, very convenient.
- Poor design. Weight of watch and strap will not keep the unit balanced upright.
- I ordered this as a backup charger in case I lost my original one. And this kit does include a charging cable very similar to the original. However, the real beauty of this is the other charging adapter which is small and round. It is easy to carry around and can be connected with the same USB-c cable I use to charge my other devices.The kit includes 10 covers for the charging port. I am not sure they are necessary, but I like and use them.If you own a compatible Garmin watch, you have got to get this neat charging adapter. The price point is a bargain to have a backup and the really neat little \"dock\" for charging with a Type c cord.
- I wanted a second cable for my Garmin Instinct gen 1, and this works. The new cable is almost double the length of the one that came with the watch but the new one isn\'t as thick. I didn\'t really care about the adapter when ordering but now that I have it, I think I prefer that over the longer charge cable. I really like the adapter, just grab any Type C cable and plug that into the adapter and the adapter into the watch. The dust covers fit nicely as well. I haven\'t had any problems with the ports getting dirty but the covers don\'t interfere with the comfort or feel of the watch and they\'re easy in/out. As long as the adapter keeps working, I really like this kit.
- While it was strange that it included colored caps for the connection to the watch, it worked just fine. There are no instructions, but it\'s fairly straightforward. On the \"dock\" there is a USB-C connection, which I used to connect to a power supply. Then there is a protruding connection to the watch. It\'s a bit strange, but it works. The regular USB cord is a good length and connects to a USB plug-in. Both work fine. Recommended!
