• I already owned a previous version and I really loved it! But the suction on it worn out. I searched for another and did not find it until just recently here on Amazon. The one I had previously, I used for 3 years and it gave out a year ago.What I like about this one is that, you have the option of using the suction for the windshield or use the other option that can be attached to the vent.I only rated it 4 stars because I thought I was getting the one on the first picture- its exactly as the one I have but, was disappointed when I received the one that is shown in the last pictures. There is nothing wrong with itjust that I got the updated/newer version. Just know if you are planning on purchasing one, I recommend it, my old one lasted me three years and still works, the suction doesn\'t but everything else does. So it will last a while. Now, I cant say much about where you live and how much sun you get, as I think that will vary by location and how frequent you use it/expose it to the sun.
• Sticks, great to most smooth surfaces. The sticky rubber seal seems to work great. very rarely do. I have to re-apply it. Maybe once every 4 months
• I bought one about a year ago and it worked fine until the suction quit working so I bought a new one. The phone holder on the new one was weak and would not hold the phone. I put the old phone holder on the new one and that gave me a good one. I need another one for my other car but am afraid the phone holder will not hold the phone. Will it?
• I\'ve bought several of these. They last a long time. In the summer, I use the vent clip because the heat in Phoenix with the phone being in the window is too much for the phone. So it\'s best to use the vent clip then. The rest of the year I use the suction cup in my window.I\'m using something different right now just to try, but this is the best one yet. My nephew is using mine in fact. He loves it. If this other doesn\'t work out, I\'m going to buy another one of these.
• I really like this mount! I think that products like this will only get better, as I see more of them being advertised anytime you buy one it almost becomes obsolete.I think it could be more stable, and it doesn\'t really stick to rough surfaces that well. The first and last time I attached it to the dash, the stand fell over about 5 minutes in.
• What the headline says - a reliable phone holder
• I prefer this mount over the magnetic ones because I like thick and stable cases for my phones. It\'s functioning just fine as it is described. However, one of the two soft linings for the side arms is peeled off from the mount. I don\'t know where I should order replacements.
• This is a really good mount for the most part. My only 2 issues are that I can\'t turn the one knob anymore to loosen it and also the plastic makes a lot of squeaky sounds which is REALLY irritating but it has lasted longer than any other mount I have used before and its able to be placed in multiple convenient locations. Overall, I would still recommend this mount but I hope they find a way to make it not so loud from the vibrations of driving.
