Rand McNally 528002783 3-In-1 Universal GPS Charger

• Place is a rip off. Not the same thing as pictured on Amazon. Supposed to be a long cord for car charger and a cheap house charger. my GPS and it came with two short ones.
• Rand McNally insists that only their charger be used for their GPS units. Whether or not this is true, this charger provides USB, AC and Automotive connectors to supply power to the miniUSB port on the GPS unit. It works as advertised, and I cannot complain about that. Good unit, I would buy it again if necessary.
• Like I said it wasn\'t like the picture it had a wall plug with a USB port, a car charger plug with a USB port, and the cord for using with either. You do not need to slide the car charger in the wall plug like in the picture to use the wall charger. So I liked it better. We used it with our Rand McNally GPS on a recent trip and it worked great... no problems!
• I bought this to replace my husband\'s original charger on his Rand McNally GPS because the car charger part just fell apart in the port. Obviously not a great design, and especially crappy since my husband is an over the road truck driver and a GPS is almost as critical a tool as the truck itself. I hope that having a charger that never needs to leave the port will prevent him having to create another Franken-charger.
• Have a RM 720 GPS that died after 14 months. RM was nice enough to extend the 12 month warranty and sent us out a refurbished unit - with a warning to only use a RM power source. I had lost\broken the old one so ordered this one. Well it worked great. Thanks to RM for standing behind their products.
• Shipped quickly, and it was exactly as described. I actually like this charger better than I liked the one that came with my GPS when I bought it new! Much longer USB cord, and the 12 Volt charger seems to be of a better construction than the original. Great buy, Thank you very much!
